Statutory Rights and Returns

Your statutory rights remain unaffected by our Returns and Refunds Policy. If any aspect of our policy contradicts your statutory rights, your statutory rights will take precedence. In such cases, the conflicting provision within our policy will be considered void.

Returns and Exchanges

Should you find yourself dissatisfied with your purchase, kindly inform us. Our Returns and Refunds Policy permits a 30-day window for returning or exchanging items, provided you possess a valid receipt. Regrettably, we cannot process a refund or exchange for purchases made more than 30 days ago.

For eligibility concerning refunds or exchanges, merchandise must be returned in a condition suitable for resale. This implies that the item must be unused and in the same state as when you received it. The item should be accompanied by its original packaging, inclusive of all accessories, labels, as well as any associated “free gifts” or bonus items.

Completion of a refund or exchange necessitates the provision of a receipt or valid proof of purchase. Kindly refrain from returning your purchase directly to the manufacturer.

According to the Consumer Rights Act, you possess an early entitlement to reject items of unsatisfactory quality, inadequate fitness for purpose, or items not as described, resulting in a full refund. This right is, however, confined to a 30-day timeframe commencing from your acquisition of the goods—whether at the time of purchase or upon delivery, depending on whichever date is later.

Post the initial 30-day period, your primary recourse is not an outright refund, but rather the right to a repair or replacement.

Refunds

Following the reception and examination of your returned item, you will receive an email notifying you of its arrival. Additionally, we will apprise you of the approval or denial of your refund request.

Approval will trigger the processing of your refund, automatically crediting your credit card or original payment method within 14 calendar days. If your initial purchase included standard delivery charges, these will also be reimbursed.

Certain scenarios warrant partial refunds, as outlined below:

  • Books or other paper products displaying evident signs of use.
  • Items not in their original state, damaged, or missing components, due to reasons unrelated to our error.
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Delayed or Missing Refunds

Should your refund be pending, kindly revisit your bank account details. Subsequently, contact your credit card company, as there may be a waiting period before the refund is officially posted.

If issues persist, reach out to your bank, considering a processing period might cause a delay before the refund is processed.

Sale Items

Regrettably, sale items are exempt from refund eligibility, unless they suffer from defects.

Exchanges

Exchanges are feasible only for defective or damaged items. Should you require an exchange for the same product, please initiate the process by sending an email to returns@wilsonbathroomcompany.co.uk and subsequently dispatch the item to:

Gifts

If an item was marked as a gift during purchase and directly shipped to you, you will receive a gift credit equivalent to the item’s value. Upon receipt of the returned item, a gift certificate will be sent to you.

In scenarios where the item was not designated as a gift during purchase, or if the gift was delivered to the purchaser for later handover, the gift giver will be refunded, thereby becoming aware of the return.

You are responsible for covering your own shipping expenses associated with returning the item, except in cases where the item is flawed. Shipping costs are non-refundable. In case of a refund, the return shipping fee will be deducted from the refunded amount. Depending on your location, the duration for the exchanged product to reach you may vary. For items exceeding £50 in value, opting for a traceable shipping service or acquiring shipping insurance is recommended, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

Right to Cancel

In alignment with our Returns Policy, the Consumer Contracts Regulations provide you with the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, applicable to online, mail, or telephone orders. Subsequent to notifying us of your cancellation, you have an additional 14 days to return the goods. The refund encompasses standard delivery charges. You will bear the expenses of returning a canceled order.

The refund will encompass the price paid for the items and, if applicable, the delivery charges (unless delivery was free) up to the amount of our standard delivery. The refund will be directed to your original payment method within 14 calendar days following our receipt of the canceled items or, if sooner, within 14 days from the day we receive your proof of return. Failure to receive the returned items may result in us organizing their collection at your expense.
